Wedding bells and good news!

Just a quick side not beginning for anyone who watches Game of Thrones, good grief episode 6 was an absolute belter! I actually couldn’t compute what I was watching and I was going absolutely nuts at the TV! Bring on Monday’s episode to see what they’re going to end on for now!

So, as I mentioned last week, on Monday it was the wedding of my beautiful friends, Steph and John, which I just happened to have the pleasure of being a bridesmaid for!

As you can imagine, the wedding was absolutely beautiful and we had an amazing day.

Here are the gorgeous Bride and Groom having their first dance. They couldn’t look happier and I am so delighted for them. Steph also looked like an absolute Princess in her dress and John looked extremely dapper in his suit!

I had a wonderful evening before the wedding as well and I got to stay overnight with the Bride and bridesmaids at the wedding venue which was Macdonald Frimley Hall Hotel and Spa. It is a beautiful venue with lovely surrounding grounds, so a very ideal choice for a wedding! We had a gorgeous meal in the hotel restaurant and consumed quite a bit of wine and champagne. I have never seen a bigger bottle of champagne in my life than the one that was left in the room for us girls! It was huge! I unfortunately didn’t get a picture of it, so you will just have to take my word for it!

The morning of the day of the wedding the Groom had very kindly paid for the bridesmaids to get their hair and make up done along with the Bride which was a gorgeous treat. My make up was done by the wonderful Charlotte Boulton who I have previously worked with at Shrek’s Adventure! London. Charlotte is fantastic and trained at Chanel, so she definitely knows what she is doing.

My hair was done by the recommended hair dresser from the wedding venue themselves. She did such an amazing job and we all had slightly different styles which made us all have a slightly individual look. You can see my hair in pictures below as I don’t seem to have a close up shot.

Weddings are one of my favourite things and I cry at all of them. I just can’t help myself. The moment that does it for me is when the Bride and Groom see each other for the first time as the Bride walks down the aisle. Honestly, I am an absolute mess at this point. I also then had to pull myself together to deliver a reading during the ceremony, which I felt rather emotional during, but nevertheless delivered it well! (I did pronounce one particular word wrong… but I think we can let that slide.)

What really made the wedding special was that Steph’s family and best friend, Renae, had traveled all the way from Canada to be there. So a very special and memorable occasion indeed!

Here are some pictures from the day.

As you can see, we definitely had a fun day and we were surrounded by great friends, which made it even better! Congratulations to the Bride and Groom! We wish you all the very best for your married life together.

Bobby and I had to leave the wedding a bit earlier than we would have done as this week we have been house/dog/cat sitting for a friend of a friend. It’s safe to say it’s been a very hectic week! The family whose house we are staying in have gone on holiday to Italy for a week, so we have had the absolute pleasure of looking after their cat, Sharpay and this beautiful beast of a dog, Tino.

He is a Chow Chow and he’s only a puppy, but my God is he strong! He’s actually nearly pulled Bobby over during one of his walks and Bobby is a very strong guy! He’s such a big softy though and he’s as good as gold. I think he’s taken quite a liking to us too, so it will be sad when we have to say goodbye on Saturday! I don’t think Sharpay is very happy though, he really doesn’t like Tino, so keeping them separate has been a little bit of a challenge!

Speaking of cats and dogs, I am heading off today for an overnight stay in Leeds as I am taking Paw Patrol for a meet and greet! This is with the costume company Rainbow Productions, who Bobby also works for. They are the “world leader in manufacturing bespoke brand and sports mascots as well as the UK’s official supplier of licensed children’s characters for appearances”.  So hanging out with cats and dogs definitely seems to be my thing this week!

Good news to report!

I am very pleased to announce that I have been offered acting representation by the wonderful F & I Associates! I could not be more excited about this! They are a new agency and they officially launch on September 4th. They are lead by 2 amazing individuals who have 40 years experience working in the industry. I had such an amazing audition day with them and got to meet all of their existing clients and work with them too. They are only taking on an initial 30 clients, so I feel extremely privileged to be one of them! It was such a brilliant day and getting to know everyone else really helps to create a supportive environment. I can’t wait to see what the future holds with them. I will definitely be updating you soon enough I am sure!
